Busy Busy….

It was another busy week with wind, rain and everything in between!

The Telkom lines are still not operational, although Telkom is on site working on the problem. We now know what happened – the fibre installers in Muizenberg inadvertently cut the main Telkom line to Westlake and then closed everything up. That fault has now been traced so we are hoping to have our telephone lines up and running soon. In the meantime you can reach us via cell phone on 063 594 5531 or email.

League news

Our Masters League side played at Simons Town this past weekend and drew 2/2. The Mid-amateur league play is playing this weekend Saturday against Metropolitan, always a tough fixture – good luck gentlemen!

Every helping hand keep our course in mint condition

Our divot-repairing project is going really well, with many members choosing to assist by taking a sandbag on a specific hole every competition day and filling in divots all over that specific hole. Please remember to drop the sandbags at the next tee box for us to collect. Obviously we are all still expected to repair all divots during our game. The compliments for the course continue to pour in and all your efforts play a big part in that so thank you one and all.

Don’t leave home without your membership card

Just a reminder to all members that if you forget your member card at home, you will not be able to open your round or get your 20% discount at the club. We are currently awaiting extra temporary cards, so please remember to bring yours along. Also, a reminder to keep your balance on your card positive and top up if your do not have enough funds.

Have a great week. See you all at the club.
